I found this question: Receiving commercial / public-safety on a general-coverage HAM transceiver that has the same topic, but it's from 9 years ago and doesn't answer my question. I have an Icom IC-706MkiiG, and I'm aware of OP25 software but the only instructions I find for OP25 are for use with SDR. If I can connect to the audio or perhaps the discriminator of my Icom (or any rig for that matter) can I decode P25 with my ham rig?

Yes, OP25 has instructions on their site under "discriminator tap with sound card".
OP25 isn't exactly what the marketers like to call "turn-key", so you will need to modify its GNURadio flow-graph by removing the SDR source and the FM demodulator, and replacing them with an audio source; for more instructions on that you're probably best off asking them. But they've provided instructions on the hardware interface and the level adjustment.
