I've downloaded the 24.04 iso several times from the Ubuntu site. I ran the verify process as specified on the Ubuntu site. I tried to burn to USB stick but it only created a dead stick. I burnt to a DVD (and BD). The DVD (or BD) will boot and I can run apps and such, but it WILL NOT install. It gets as far as asking region and then NOTHING. All I could do was to get the 25.04 iso and install it. It works just fine. But I'd rather have the 24.04 since it is LTS. What is WRONG with 24.04?
